Same, but piece of s*** is a bit harsh. It’s meh at best.

I kinda realized everything I liked about it had something horrendous behind it and it just soured the film for me (the exciting climactic fight scene being undermined so hard by the dreadful choreography from the extras, how the Holdo sequence is actually a poor attempt to glamorize a character that straight up is a dreadful leader throughout the film, how most of the film is plotted because the enemy doesnt want to go an extra 10 mph faster to catch that puny ass ship, etc)

It’s probably the worst writing I’ve ever seen in a movie. People dog a film like TDKR and while it has some dreadful writing in parts, I’ve never quite seen a movie fail entirely at its premise like TLJ. I think I literally only enjoy the cinematography and quite frankly all the Disney SW movies look good, it’s easily the biggest positive I can give em.

And oh god don’t get me started on Rose and what they did to Finn…
