Yeah true I guess, Kendrick albums are all like that for me as well
I still like gkmc quite a bit but theres always a few songs on every Kendrick album i just don't think are very good
@RASIE boo this man for his Future and Thugger disrespect
I said I liked them a lot. But watch any interview with Future, dudes a dummy lol. He said something recently that was so insanely stupid I was laughing at the thought of the headline about it that whole day.
It’s a solid list, I’ll give you that. As much as I like Future and Young Thug the idea that they’re like unique artists with ideas is very funny. I’m picturing Future thinking about how he’s going to structure his album lol
Future literally did commentary for Dirty Sprite 2, cretin

Condescending thing to say and even if you're right that's like complaining that Chuck Berry didn't sequence his albums fluidly enough. There are more important elements to focus on.
now I gotta see your list to see what you thought was exciting
What made it onto my list isn’t necessarily a reflection of what I think is exciting music. A lot of it is retreads of older stuff just done really well.

only jazz artists were really caring about album sequencing before Dylan, right?

Yeah it was a silly argument from Elric
I was counting WTT which i also take over yeezus
The most overrated rap album ever

I'm sure it's different on a case-by-case basis but either way I couldn't believe my eyes reading his post just there. He really thinks these guys are just d*** addicts that have no idea what they're doing

Bro's really ignoring my post about Future's half hour commentary on DS2

The most overrated rap album ever
WTT??? HOW?!?! Most people like the hits but most generally put the album lower in his catalogue. I don't think I saw a single WTT placement in a top 50 of the decade list (not that it should be), but RYM thinks it's worse than f***ing YE. If anything it's underrated these days and unjustly gets s*** on for no reason. There are far more acclaimed albums than it that are much more overrated in context of its actual acclaim (WTT notably did not get great scores like MBDTF or Yeezus upon release).

Correct. I think a lot of it was just luck. Right time and right place, plus they both have really unique voices and they’ll do some cool things with their vocal inflections over complimentary production. Chuck Berry was a talented guitarist in the 50’s, it’s totally different.

I guess you’re right but I hear so much praise for it on here that it’s probably warped my view of its general reaction

It's like the way a lot of people think Dylan is just a fog brained mumbler because of the way he talks and don't realize he's a f***in wizard

WTT could've benefitted from better sequencing and not f***ing Lift Off as track 2

I mean it's a Kanye fam site. For more context, it didn't make our first 2010s list either and had 2 votes out of 27 users.

It's grown on me a bit tbh. Lift Off is not great bit not as bad as "Who Gon Stop Me". The production on "Lift Off" is so extravagant that I forget about the dumbass lyrics... Rappers hear watch the Throne, they gon be pissed off
