Yea never seen the movie but i know the twist
I mean the minute she opened her mouth I knew she was trans. I didn’t need to wait for the official reveal.
Post someone cool, like Edgar Allen Poe
if you want a cool poet read TS Eliot

No. Outside of lyrics I really don't know any poetry at all.
Can’t believe I didn’t know the twist. Seems like a Sixth Sense thing for a lot of people. Like it’s just in the cultural zeitgeist, but I was barely even familiar with it.
I'm aware because of Ace Ventura

Is that what that joke was in response to?
Damn man I didn't know Val Kilmer was in the kinda shape
Yeah really sad in the new Top Gun

When he finds out Einhorn is Finkle and there's the montage that didn't age the best where he spends several minutes washing his mouth out with soap and crying
No. A different song called The Crying Game is in it.
Is it this one? Thought they played a remake

One of the best songs I found from 1964 especially considering this balls out b-side
Yung Page the session man played on both sides

When he finds out Einhorn is Finkle and there's the montage that didn't age the best where he spends several minutes washing his mouth out with soap and crying
That's the best part of the movie
I remember busting a gut to the scene in particular when I was a kid
the sequel was too good

When the big dude turns around and they show him in the little napsack

I’m as pro trans as it comes and I still find it funny. That particular character would think it was gross, that absurd over the top reaction can be funny. Like if it was a guy accidentally kissing his best friend and the same reaction happened no one would bat an eye and call it homophobic.

Yeah I understand why some people find it offensive. The ending especially when he outs Einhorn probably f***ed a lot of trans and would-be trans people up.
I'll never get tired of seeing him crying in the shower while Crying Game plays though. It's so stupid

Yeah he’s a buffoon, you can easily read it as him being the butt of the joke. Obviously I get why it can be seen as offensive too but I think it’s fine in that context. It seems more like a meta reference to that film now. I mean the main character in Crying Game also throws up as a reaction, but many trans people love that movie. It’s kinda played as darkly comedic in that film where as Ace Ventura is way more cartoonish.
That being said The Monopoly Guy scene is the true funniest Ace Ventura moment.
I wanted my own robot rhino after seeing that when I was a kid. I thought it was so cool.
I still would like one
Cool little indie pop song.
