Automatic for the people was probably the last album my parents bought that was new
My mom was big on Madonna, Janet Jackson, Sade, TLC. All that stuff.
My dad usually dug anything I'd play in the car. I'd bring a Nirvana CD or something and he'd be like "cool"
Pretty young but all I remembered was Richard dreyfuss's little face when he was even more of a dwarf than he was in Jaws
Interesting the soundtrack didn’t leave an impact on you
@Koala @HeyFella you guys seeing Louis on his tour?
Probably not. Would be fun tho.
I love this song. Too bad the second half of the album wasn't that good
I think the whole album is great but the first half is definitely better.

My mom got into Janet after she was on the cover of Rolling Stone with her teets out. Not sure if she actually acquired Velvet Rope I should listen an see if it sounds familiar.

It probably left a subconscious one, adding to the overall ubiquitous feeling that Elvis and those guys songs had
My parents had the 30 #1 hits comp on repeat when i was a child so all those songs are permanently seared into my brain...and then getting into the deep cuts as i got older was super rewarding...im a fan 👍
My pops knew Elvis was the man but had actually listened to him since the 60s so we kinda got to dive in together
I think his favourite was Don't which was baffling to me.

My mum's too. When I got it as a teenager it was a heavy dose of
"I already know every note of this album" nostalgia I wasn't expecting

I don't think my dad heard that one but Shout was probably his favourite song of the 80s

Missing out on Green
R.E.M. have to be one of the most consistently good bands ever. Not saying they have the highest highs but they have a killer discography overall.

Don't think he's coming my way but I do remember missing him perform at this small art theater years back
“he’s saying I am the lamb”
Malfoy's dad as Zhukov was priceless

He was at a comedy club a few miles from me the same day some Marvel show came out
