I will not vote for Kinks either unless you guys convince me that it gets better than VIllage Green which I honestly don't care much for besides a few tracks
i think you might like Arthur tbh. in the same way you like abbey road better than mid 60s beatles
how many times have you listened though :ninja:

I prefer Something Else slightly.
What about Neil?
Neil Young's 5 placements (4, 23, 42, 84, 136)
Eno's 5 placements (14, 24, 44, 61, 68)
Sabbath's 4 (18, 19, 21, 57)
Bowie's 6 (3, 15, 48, 103, 110, 122)
I just think Sabbath and Eno had better showings cause all their albums finished relatively high. Neil keeps the lead for the first 3 but Eno takes it overall by a lot. And credit to Bowie for being the only aritst to get 6, but Sabbath had 2 albums among the 10 closest to making it as well, and Eno was about 15 spots away. One vote from essentially being in Ziggy range)
American Psycho has an amazing soundtrack. I forgot they played True Faith
I like when he’s vibing to Lady In Red in the car. I have a weird soft spot for that song. I want someone cool to make a dream pop cover of it.
Kinks remind me of Wes Anderson movies which is why I kinda like them but I've never heard an entire album from them (yet)
He’s definitely their biggest stan

I loathe almost every song in that movie out of context but I guess they're funny when you watch it
Except for Walking on Sunshine. Definitely one of those songs that make me wanna off myself.

It's for advanced kink fans. Not the best starting point at all.

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC8oP4Z_xPwIt's pretty cheese but then again you love all that 80s cockrock and cheesy stuff in general so I can only assume you have a bad memory attached to Joan Jett

The stuff he loves is fun though. That song is just dull and repetitive.

the rest of the song isnt even bad to me (guitar, verses) but the chorus is just irritating af. the cheese doesnt matter
i only like the good 80s commercial hard rock
