Lol forreal tho even on a big tv its so distracting. Trying to emulate how movie theaters would close/open curtain to match the aspect of whatever film was showing just does not translate in the digital space to me at all.

Was listening to Helena by MCR and wishing I got into that crap as a teenager. I really like their melodic sensibilities but the execution of it feels like it can only be fully enjoyed by a 16 year old who just got kissed by a scene chick for the first time. But 90’s Midwestern emo on the other hand I could probably still listen to in middle age.

Jimmy Eat World is good. Rest of this I mostly dislike too outside of obviously Weezer and System of a Down like you listed. Deftones the only other nu metal band I like.
