I'll look into it. Always down for yung coop.

There's a 720p copy on YouTube right now, still looks decent but not as good as the CC version.
There's also a 1080p one on YT that seems like it looks a bit better, but the uploader but fake theater curtain boarders on the sides
who tf wants to watch something like that

Curtains help you feel the immersion of a movie theater while you watch on your phone

Lol forreal tho even on a big tv its so distracting. Trying to emulate how movie theaters would close/open curtain to match the aspect of whatever film was showing just does not translate in the digital space to me at all.
But im also the kind of person who gets bothered by retro games with borders on modern tvs haha

I think some add banners/curtains possibly to avoid copyright since it slightly alters the image for the copyright check but idk
That Big Thief album keeps giving me heavy Fleetwood Mac vibes so I revisited FM’s self titled album. Warm Ways is an underrated song of theirs.
Wtf i didnt even know turkeys flew like that
I swear i thought they were a flightless bird like chickens or something. Definitely didnt think they could get high up in a tree like that
stg these s***s flying like 50/60 feet up into these pines

Me too. Did you see X yet? It’s used in that perfectly.
Was listening to Helena by MCR and wishing I got into that crap as a teenager. I really like their melodic sensibilities but the execution of it feels like it can only be fully enjoyed by a 16 year old who just got kissed by a scene chick for the first time. But 90’s Midwestern emo on the other hand I could probably still listen to in middle age.

I can’t imagine liking metalcore and screamo now

I don’t know if I’d consider MCR either of those things but I haven’t heard a ton of them.

MCR isn’t but they’re under the emo umbrella
Most of the people who liked the film agree with that. If you don’t connect with what it’s going for you’re going to find it silly. I understand why you don’t like it, but if anyone else in this thread is gonna dig it as much as me it’s gonna be branmalt.

when I was a teen it was a relentless barrage of Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Creed, Staind, Korn
SOAD only ones I could stand
Then there were all the Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, Evanescence
Weezer only ones I could stand
Man I hated rock and roll until the White Stripes showed up
just so dramatically uncool compared to the Wu Tang which was life

I can't stand the singalong from Magnolia either so
not into those moments

Jimmy Eat World is good. Rest of this I mostly dislike too outside of obviously Weezer and System of a Down like you listed. Deftones the only other nu metal band I like.

Rage as well but they felt like godfathers by then
even though were only out for like 8 years. Funny how compact time is when you're young.
Had a first nations best friend in early high school and at a time when everyone else on the rez strictly listened to rap music he pretty much worshipped Slipknot
and to a slightly lesser degree Rage, Bone Thugs and Tupac
tried to get me into Static X and stuff
miss that guy
