“Great” R&B albums are too few and far in between throughout the genre’s run. I feel like if you made a Top 100 R&B albums list, it would get questionable about 3/4 of the way through.

Monk 60s stuff prob wont make my list tbh but the Genius of Modern Music compilations would be near the very top of a theoretical pre-1960 list

My fav Beatles song is probably Because and Something is up there too so that album hits hard for me still. I never overplayed it in my youth so that helps.
