I get the impression they listen to mostly music no one’s ever heard rather than well known classics. Someone’s got to.

Im sure it wouldn't have been as heavy handed but at the same time it wouldn't have had the same impact either. It's Stone's kinetic rage that made that joint Its crazy that both Tom Sizemore and Juliette Lewis seem like relics of the 90's along with the film.

Tom was in like every big 90’s flick it seems

Kinda, I feel like the blues guys will be represented better than the R&B guys. ‘60s R&B albums were more single focused anyway.

If I’m being honest I like a lot of singles from those artists but not many albums in those genres. I’ve always had a hard time getting into their stylistic flourishes. We’ve discussed this before though.

probably room for a couple but yeah i dont think it reached the heights yet that it did a few years later

realistically i should have voted for more soul albums in the 70s but a lot of the ones i like havent really had enough time to sink in as much as I know they eventually will

My 70s intake is by far my least and though I champion Eno, that #1 Eno record on my list would likely be 7 or 8 compared to 60s
