Hyperbole aside I definitely got TPAB as a classic and these last few spins have been
maybe cause its been a good couple years since I last heard it.

FellaThat’s another thing I never understood about his critiques. Him acting as if studio “trickery” as he puts it somehow takes away from the quality of the finished piece. It’s the same weird argument towards a film when they’ll say “it was saved in editing”. It’s like that’s how movies work lol.
Nah, it's more in a sense of using rather flashy effects than using these sound effects as the compositional core/more than added texture (see Interstellar Overdrive for example) to create something more elaborate, which then comes off as typing something in bold rather than typing something better. Sure, it definitely can enhance the experience and music ain't that simple to pin down but that's the gist of that argument.

Physically sick or do you just get bummed out?
i been drinking right around half a bottle of whiskey 3 times a week the past few months, didn’t realize how bad that was until i looked it up today

realizing alot of the bros I partied with in my 20s still drink like it's back in the day. not a good habit to take into adulthood they are not aging well.

Started as a party thing but then I just kept going. Finally decided to put a stop to it and had to deal with a week long hangover
Not like I'm completely sober now or anything but yeah, not wasted all the time and generally feeling healthier mentally and physically.
