When folks praise an athlete as a great overall player, saying that this guy does x better or that guy does y better makes you sound silly.

That’s another thing I never understood about his critiques. Him acting as if studio “trickery” as he puts it somehow takes away from the quality of the finished piece. It’s the same weird argument towards a film when they’ll say “it was saved in editing”. It’s like that’s how movies work lol.
