In the 70s yeah. Van Halen for the 80s and none of the members of Kiss got s*** on Eddie, anyway. Kiss sucks.

@Koala @rise_zero @drjdeponytail @gordon_bombay you guys call it hair metal or nah
No
Feels like Kiss planted the seed. Another band I'm surprised to find I like.
yeah
ive been listening to the main Kiss albums too (not too deeply or anything). a string of decent albums with a few worthwhile highlights basically
Strutter might be my fav from them

Dude the hair metal scene was f***ing wild tho, nothing but sex, d****, and makeup :datass: That scene is something that could only happen at the 80's and every cutie loved it.

Ok this joint here.. that warmth, that fiddle.. Hits like
lets get @Jerry_Seinfeld opinion too on whether Van Halen should be called "hair metal"
Always just considered them to be a rock band, never really thought of them as hair metal, although they aren’t far removed from it.

"I strongly feel that this is an insult to life itself" is still one of the best lines I've ever heard

"we want to build a machine that can draw pictures like humans"
Hayao;

Him and Terrence Malick would get along.

I feel bad for those dudes cause Ghibli definitely has some horrifying grotesqueries in their films to put that things to shame

In Miyazaki's case I don't think he's against horror but being gross just for the sake of being gross. Also think the "robots learning to draw like humans" thing probably freaked him out even more
You can see his brain exploding. That idea goes against everything he's done pretty much.
