i can accept that shes good but her album sounded so terrible to me that i just deleted it before a full digestion. ill try again in a few years. might be one of those things thats easier to appreciate after that fact than while its going on for me

thats a strong discography, especially when you consider that all the albums are like 1hr+ long and there are also some bonus and vault tracks. and still best as a single songs artist like Madonna. assuming some of those will probably grow on me more too as they settle

she's less zeitgeisty, less personal perspective (for me at least) and i feel like the ethereal quality is more "out of time" as much as i dislike that kind of language. feel like Grimes was always mature music for adults too where some of taylor's s*** was out when she was still a teenager and obviously the main market was teenage girls

this is a good example of why i dont watch music videos

ive heard this one before but it started to sound less bad when i closed my eyes. i dont hate it but i dont feel much coolness from it outside of the fact that it seems to be trying so so hard to have an attitude like that (might be partially my bias)
