New Charli album shaping up to be kinda boring. New songs are all okay but they sound like they could have been made by anyone, none of that distinctive Charli magic

She should’ve never left AG Cook and that pc music scene

my point is she didn’t leave any scene lmfao the album is 1.5 years old you sound so f***ing dumb sometimes, at least have a smidge of self awareness about it

Charli has always had her mainstream pop albums to go along with her experimental ones, this just so happens to be one of the former. saying she left any kind of scene just isn’t correct

The upcoming album doesn’t have the same sound as the last one and I wish it didn’t. Why are you being deliberately ignorant about this?

I think that the Left in general is having a stroke over NATO not being the invader here. Sure, NATO went farther to the East but there was no reason to start a war in Ukraine. In fact, it's heavily backfiring on Putin economically. I guess it's also because the old imperial wars are not as profitable as they were. See China for example. Their form of imperialism is very different and mostly economically and contractually (look at what happened to Montenegro for example. then again you have Uyghurs but I think that's a different case altogether.). Not saying that the world would be save from wars in the future (on the contrary actually) but that old model just isn't working anymore.

Ukraine wants to be part of NATO and the EU. Why? Because they are more economically prosperous and better armed. Russia is an old imperialistic power that is basically losing it's status. This is a very pragmatic and materialistic decision.

Also, f*** it. Russia is an IMPERIALISTIC power. There is no difference here just because they're losing their status. They are just as terrible and waged a war in Ukraine. Putin is responsible for these deaths.

The solution would obviously the liberation of the entire working class when it comes to leftist theory but right now it's also just important to acknowledge the current situation this world is in. That won't happen so fast. The contradictions that would lead to such an event are simply not strong enough. In fact, I partially buy into Varoufakis' theory that capitalism is evolving into some sort of Tech-Feudalism ( youtube.com/watch?v=_jW0xUmUaUc ).

Also, I'm not for arming. On the contry, new peace treaties, economic dependencies and demilitarization on all sides for this situation in particular to stop the killing asap.
