Yeah that album is great but there’s just something that makes it never come together the way the other three do. It’s overall probably their darkest sounding record but none of the tracks build into something that kind of justify that feel if that makes sense. The middle section of If There Is Something on the debut or A Song For Europe on Stranded feel like something that album would be full of but none of the songs ever really get to that place.

Yo I read one of your favs recently, Clockers excellent f***ing book.. Ill have to check out the Spike film but the book was written way more like The Wire and less stylized like his film.
