Did those relistens bring those up for you?

I have no interest in it honestly. I get what it’s going for. It’s satirizing the entire process behind making another Matrix film and picks apart the sociocultural landscape it’s played apart in. Still the action looks bad and the film from even clips lacks the visual identity that made the original trilogy at least interesting to look at. I never liked the original Matrix to begin with though. I was more of a Dark City guy.

I don’t get why. Everyone and their mother is saying it’s a bad waste of time that thinks it’s more clever than it actually is. I don’t like the Matrix franchise to begin with. Why would I suddenly be interested in the new one?

I separate objective and subjective with media. Magical Mystery Tour is in my top 5 Beatles albums but I would never say it’s one of their five best albums.

I disagree with him anyway. I don’t need a 12 minute version of that song to get its full effect. It’s great as it is but the longer version is nice. Bizzare Love Triangle for example has a million remixes and some are better than the original but the original is still great and encapsulates everything good about the song. No other version is necessary even if they sometimes improve on certain aspects of it or add some neat twist to it. The core is still good regardless.

It’s 8 mins but if the edit had an outro that was a minute longer, I’d agree. You ever hear the radio edit of purple rain? Very different song

Because I go way out of my way to avoid trailers and everything so I can go into the experience fresh with no preconceptions meanwhile you're watching every trailer early reactions engaging in Twitter discussion watching the press junket etc etc to the point where you don't even bother watching something because you think you have it figured out already lunatic

The album version is awesome but the 12-in version goes to way deeper depth what are you even talking about wouldn't even be close to my top 20 of all time if it was just the album version
