Like on this forum theirs so much discussion. theres reviews websites that give scores for music, you can watch online the likes of anthony fantona and now theres a numbers of lists out for the best albums and songs of this year. you can pretty much just read all this info and you dont even listen to the music and start to throw around your opinion.
theres also sales figures which you can use to back yourself up.
its almost a waste of time to listen when you could be already posting about it. takes like 5 mins to scan some comments.. an album takes soo much longer

Haven't listened to much this year (about 30 albums) but I really liked Peggy and Billie

Don't care about the intention tbh. Whole album is pretty psychedelic too. It's a drone that is actually pretty original for it's time afaic. The Doors' like mood and Venus In Furs like distortion and viola (even before VU were hugely influential. Cale playing on there def helps.). The subtle guitar playing just keeps enough variation for it to not lose it's tension imo and Iggy's vocal portions keep the grittiness until it dissolutes into that viola solo at the end. Also, even though they were conceived as two sides No Fun fits perfectly after that.

Agree with most of this except the fact that Iggy's voice isn't really allowed to achieve full menace like does on Ann at this tempo

Also just the fact that you said that We Will Fall is the reason you put the debut over Funhouse one of your more blasphemous statements that I'm going to file away with your thoughts on Yeezus and Eleanor Rigby

@rvi you going to get triggered every time I call The Kinks psychedelic but let this man get away with calling The Stooges psych if there was anybody who was the antithesis even more than Ray it was Iggy imo. Even if there's some Yardbirdsiness.
