what do you mean lyrics its a very wordy album

the underground hippie scene was well underway by '66 the Fugs and that type of thing

i didnt say the way he sang i said the way he lays them across doesn't matter who's singing. ugly melodies. intentionally probably but still.

i gave more of his albums a further marination than you think, made it passed Weasles Ripped My Flesh but not much. S*** is not for me. If you aren't gonna be offended by my reactions than by all means keep trying as we go through the years

like i dont hear this and feel the need to really value the lyrics. its just bs

need you to show me some non-yardbirds songs released before March 1966 that were trippier Brain Police

and yes I am going to force you to endure the 25 minute attempted comedy live disaster known as Billy the Mountain in hopes that it will make you reconsider the other Zappa thinking "yknow maybe this isnt so bad after all". i actually wont make you listen to that one its just too painful

He has some scathing lyrics but just the amount of compassion and empathy conveyed through his singing and lyrics on the basement tapes and blood on the tracks and another side and freewheelin etc etc are on another level

You can't write blowin in the wind if you are a pillar of salt that just looks down on mankind

yeah he was associated with the Mothers via the LA scene and took part in the Freak Out sessions

he was credited with the "hypophone" and zappa said "The hypophone is his mouth, 'cause all that ever comes out of it is hype"
