I don't know I feel the big love you take is equal to the love you make statement is way too on the nose for the band that's supposed to represent that whole decade. Dylan would never.

you've become cynical in your old age

Yeah I was pretty sure I could tell which one was Lennon. He's a savage

"The idea for a guitar instrumental over this section was Harrison's, and Lennon suggested that the three of them each play a section. The solos begin approximately 53 seconds into the song. Geoff Emerick, the Beatles' recording engineer, later recalled: "John, Paul and George looked like they had gone back in time, like they were kids again, playing together for the sheer enjoyment of it. More than anything, they reminded me of gunslingers, with their guitars strapped on, looks of steely-eyed resolve, determined to outdo one another. Yet there was no animosity, no tension at all – you could tell they were simply having fun.""

    totally epic

Nope I'm a hypersofty and just gave this impossibly tender ballad second best song of 1965

I just prefer my corn to be a little more eloquent

    Wild Honey Pie tho

    its good

and the way the "civilized" honey pie contrasts with the "wild" one

really just the same song in two different ways. one a schmaltzy love song and one just the primal chant "honey pieeeee honey pieeee"

i like having a funny song on there

yeeaaaa can't wait for the album to drop and everyone is exposed to these lyrics, gonna be meme'd the f*** out of

that song has been around since before their debut. I'm glad they're utilizing it by putting it on an album because I actually think it's pretty good. I know this thread doesn't love the band but you can't deny those saxophones at the beginning are too damn beautiful.
