I went balls deep deciding which stereo or mono I wanted for kinks and small faces but didnt think it was as big a deal for beedles
What about the hoo
feel like its more important for beatles than any of them tbh
for the Who basically pre-Tommy the mono stuff is better. The Who Sell Out stereo isnt horrible but had a few questionable ones iirc. My Generation I don't even remember if there was an actual dedicated stereo mix for all the songs or just some s*** on bonuses but it doesnt exactly sound amazing either way. i actually remember some of the stereo mixes (remixes done later i think) for my generation bonus tracks being actually solid
for a ton of albums (1967-1968) like Buffalo Springfield Again I just keep both mixes around because neither is really overall better than the other and I'll pick either one depending on how I'm feeling
"They should’ve added Adam Sandler from uncut gems with a final smash where he sells you a diamond furby and you go in debt"

I dunno there are Small Faces songs in stereo where the entire band is crammed in one channel and the vocal takes up the entire other side
no Beatles jams do that
Maybe parts of the Abbey Road suite

never bothered to hear the small faces stereo at all
i thought there were some beatles songs like exactly that tho? especially the early ones. not familiar enough to know exact examples. something like all instruments in the left channel with the vocals and an abnormally loud tambourine in the right
