ngl at first i thought the part with the incessant "sex is violent" lyric was annoying on that song and took me a little while to get past it. but came to realize it as one of the best ones on the album

btw I started peeping some of Perry Farrell/Stephen Perkins post-janes addiction band P***o for Pyros and its pretty nice, on the 2nd album they went further with the relaxed psychedelia

Mountain Song has some Yardbird guitar moments not the scorching solos but the chicken scratch s*** Beck was doing on I'm A Man

you gonna go back to their s/t debut live album afterward? or just go to Ritual

nah i think i missed that book screenshot the other day Rubber Soul mono must have been a revelation to hear especially since it fits the comfiness so well (and sounds better overall than Revolver for some reason imo).

wish the people in charge of the Beatles releases realized that not having the mono mixes widely available on streaming is an affront to their legacy. (ik paul and ringo arent dead or anything but im assuming they cant be bothered with any of that newfangled business stuff at this point)
