@rise_zero Okay what JRPG should i play next out of these? I've never played any of them before:
• Rogue Galaxy
Or
• Wild Arms 3 (rented it at blockbuster and never made it past the prologue)
I've never played Rogue Galaxy but the Wild Arms games are a lot of fun
george jones discography is gargantuan lol
Frank Zappa who?
Yeah there's a point for me where someone's discog gets so big that i just stick to combing through greatest hits and period compilations.
George Jones flew by that point 40 albums ago
Found a picture of my top 30 songs of all time on that old image site I used to use
has to be at least 5 years old. A few keepers up near the top, not entirely accurate in 2021 tho

Dam i thought it was you who said you played rogue galaxy and loved it
It must've been Sufi

Never forget where you came from

apparently 2016 Galaxy wasn't a fan of Nick Cave fan yet cause ZERO Cave songs in my top 30. This is def around the time my taste was transitioning heavy cause there's still a Radiohead song in the top 10 alongside "Velvet Waltz" and "Come On Up to the House"
@Elric so we dont derail the results thread with country talk...
This later 90s Jones song is a damn moment of reflection
And there's an infamous moment involving it where the CMAs wanted Jones to perform it, but he refused cause they told him he had to cut it down to minute to allow for other s*** on TV at the ceremony, which is disrespectful af considering that he had just won a Grammy for it as best male vocal performance 50 years into his legendary career.
Alan Jackson was also scheduled to perform his single "Pop a Top", and he did the most baller s*** ever out of respect for Jones (abd disrespect for the CMAs):

basically did a mike drop
you are really linking a 90s george jones song expecting him to break chrono
he'll get to it in 2040

its not like george has the most earth shattering stylistic changes that i need to work my way up to to comprehend or anything either
need you to start up Duke Ellington hard chrono so you can get to this amazing senior citizen period before you die
are you in heavy digestion of any jazz artists right now btw? ik you've heard a decent amount(?) of Miles, where are you at with him?
@Bizzle Midwife hits different late at night while in a down mood
wow
basically did a mike drop
Yeah he walked off in protest
There's also this slick "fuck you" he did at the Academy of Country Music awards where they wanted him to perform "Gone Country" cause it just became a hit, but they wanted him and his band to use a backing track for the instruments and mime playing
So he agreed and then pulled this on them lol (focus on the drummer):

This is very true

F***ing love Tremors.
And in terms of docs...
I just finished Jon Bois' new History of the Atlanta Falcons, but the supercut version isn't out yet so it's still in 7 parts
I recently watched that 72 min John Ford interview thats on Criterion's Stagecoach supplements, called "My Name Is John Ford, I Make Westerns", and that was dope
But in the spirit of the top 10 in our 90s results list, i highly recommend Breadcrump Trail, which is the documentary on Slint directed by Lance Bangs (crew member from Jackass). The whole thing is on YouTube here:

Dam i thought it was you who said you played rogue galaxy and loved it

Probably. Wild Arms is pretty much seen as Final Fantasy's retar'ded cousin. It's kinda weird and dumb but in a fun way.

I like weird and dumb, just not TOO much
I also really wanna play the first two Grandia games, especially the second one.
I played Grandia 3 when it came out cause it looked cool to me, and i really enjoyed it until about 3/4 of the way through the game and i could not beat this one boss.
But over the years i've noticed that fans of the games consider Grandia 3 to be the s*** entry of the series, which makes me really interested in the previous ones
