If you like Tim Dillon you’ll prob dig Shane
New Schrader out
@Koala looks like your type of flick
Schrader is hilarious. Did you see he got kicked out of Paul Dano’s poker club lol
i listened to the fully updated "final" Pablo for the first time since 2016 and damn. im not sure if its partially just because im used to most of the older versions but i feel like some things were definitely made worse. especially Feedback
was never my favorite by him but the album hasn't been hitting as hard this year as it did a few years ago. i can see Donda usurping it in my ranking
Ultralight Beat remains his most overrated song

I've said it a hundred times ITT before: he absolutely ruined Feedback. So glad i have a copy of the original saved
And im kinda in the ULB overrated camp nowadays. I still love the first 3/4 of the song, but i tend to skip it when Chance's verse starts.

somewhat agree on ULB. Haven't listened to OG feedback in forever so I can't really comment on that but I will say TLOP still got some GOATed songs, "FSMH1", "Highlights", "Waves", "Real Friends", "Saint Pablo", "Freestyle 4" all hit hard. It's pretty snugly fit just below the definitive classics on my Ye rankings

I forgot that he even did that to Feedback. think I just listened to the "final" version of the album like once and decided to keep everything i already had. ever since i've just kinda thought that the changes were minor and mine were slightly better. but that updated Feedback takes it from being one of my favorites on the album to being completely unremarkable
i'm definitely not a disliker of Ye's gospel stuff but the parts on ULB don't do much for me at all. similarly not a disliker of Ye's more minimalist production but ULB's is just meh

"I met Kanye West, I'm never going to fail"
releases The Big Day
TLOP album cover is also super trash and has always been trash and i don't know how people can act like it's a stroke of genius.
and i know someone is going to reply to this post saying its good

For a guy obsessed with art, Kanye has put 0 effort into his cover art since MBDTF. Yeezus works because of its boldness and his obsession to do everything the opposite of MBDTF. But let's be real. It's lazy as f***.

nah i wouldnt call Yeezus lazy because of the creativity of it. i dont think its an afterthought or something he just defaulted to so he wouldnt have to try for a good cover. but the ones after that I guess I'd agree with

Man's took a picture of a mountain for his album on the way to the listening party
literally everything about ye defines low effort. At least we got Daytona and Kids See Ghosts plus some great songs on Teyana's album.
