Used to be my favorite for a long time but Rid of Me is too good. Man Size Sextet I could do without tho.

Thought the same about sextet . Then I learned pj legit sang thru a forced creepy smile like u see on dolls thru the entire song and it just changed everything. That’s just too weird not to appreciate

never really thought about it but hes the most important Stone after Mick and Keith

main factor to the danceability/movement in their music, which they had over any of the other Brit invasion acts (and almost any rock band in general). seeing them live really made me realize what an important aspect that is to their sound

Thought about it and i bet you more humans have shook their ass to Charlie's beat than any other drummer in history

There are session drummers from the 60s that played on more hits than he did and s*** but how many of them were still making hits in the 80s and touring around the world packing stadiums non stop? I dount many bands have played to as many people as the stones or had as many hits play on the radio all day everyday

I mean all cumulative ass shakes whether it's a radio or a bar or a concert

feel like the number of concerts/stadiums doesnt really matter for this, probably completely dwarfed by the sales/radio aspect

if you mean the live aspect i actually think the grateful dead might have played for more people total than stones
