You listen to Tim Dillon? He had a guy from Curb on recently.
Nah but I’ll look that episode up
I’m completely out the podcast game
Rough draft. Some of this I haven’t heard in forever so it was harder to place them. Felt wrong putting some of these over others. I still need to relisten to a lot.

Yeah literally only a a couple recorded incidents but still
the worst is seeing videos of children in agony who are dying of it next to their parents... usually in places like India. Everyone knows the patient is going to die but they try not tell the kid. I made a mistake of watching these videos a few years ago and it sort of scarred me.
will start taking the list more seriously v soon @Galaxy . Have a lot of real life s*** right now so not sure If I can dive into new 90s albums at the moment; might be a slight repeat of a previous list with the order changed around.
You guys should check out 'The Rings of Saturn' by W.G. Sebald. It's the book I bought for my dad on Father's day. Incrediblly strange/dreamlike but fascinating novel from a Nobel Laureate quality writer. Also does well to blend the line between fiction and nonfiction. Not for everybody but you might like it if you've ever read Ulysses by Joyce.
also if you like Carver so much check out Hemingway. There are shades of Hemingway in all of Carver's writing (at least in my opinion). his short stories are great and so are his novels but my favorite is his memoir/collection of essays from when he lived in Paris back in the 20s. "A Moveable Feast" is the name of it I believe.

Yea man Hemingway is someone who has an omnipresence over everything, a true larger than life legend of a person. I definitely plan on reading some of his work. I had p much taken a decade long break from reading before the last couple months so im taking note
I currently read Don Carpenter's Hard Rain Falling and have John Langan's The Fisherman on deck

niice bro. I can't believe I haven't read Hard Rain Falling. Let me know what you think of it - the story always sounded very enticing. i think someday in the future me you & @Bizzle (and whoever else wants to join ofc) should choose one book and read it over a month. Kind of like what we did with Cassavetes a few months back. could be an interesting idea idk

Yeah I occasionally go down the rabbit hole of brutal f***ed up videos to remind myself how fragile our bodies are and how evil and unpredictable humans can be. anything with kids or animals getting hurt is a gargantuan nope tho.

Yeah never got the huge hype around IYFS over Tigermilk. I will definitely relisten to it before finalizing my list.

He goes onto to say Siamese is significantly worse than Gish and says Disarm is an atrocious song. Can people just admit they’re tired of hearing something on the radio and stop pretending it’s magically bad now.

I been meaning to check out some Sebald, my girlfriend read Austerlitz and f***ing hated it which is probably a sign that it's actually quite good
