Yeah I had a magic mushroom listening party with my Bowie stan friend and we couldn't believe he had dipped into the same dark ether as Station To Station almost only got 2 amazing days before the whole atmosphere of the album shifted forever

Prince (nearly equal goat for me, both top 5-10 oat) just a couple month later was so jarring

I don't have a very interesting one tbh;

Purple Rain never not #1 for me album so good it's still underrated despite being considered one of the best of the decade

Sign o the Times might have topped it with some trimming down

1999 sees him take the funk crown and push the genre even further than James/sky/George had

Dirty Minds spartan throb is immense

Man 2016 was so weird, the GOAT year for music that decade imo but we lost so many legends at a ruthless pace

I was such a big Bowie stan back then, I worked at my local radio station and spoke on air for a bit about how much he meant, Rock And Roll Suicide is a legit life-saving record

At least he went out on a high though, Blackstar was his best album in decades for sure

imo Diamonds and Pearls is ehh, Love Symbol album is pretty decent with some great tracks, Gold Experience is great and in his top 10. graffiti bridge soundtrack is pretty lame but a few nice songs. Come is pretty nice so far but I'm only a few listens in

ive heard good things about Emancipation but its a 3 hour triple album
