Album is Very lynchian

It's refreshing to hear a underground rapper in 2026 who actually cares about art in general. He raps like he actually reads books and likes visual art, but the music itself isn't book-y/ pretentious in that way.

That alone makes him stand from the pack. I can see why the legends f*** with him on a personal level based off the music alone

Lana del Rey did it better

I can kinda see the similar themes but it lacks the + the pull the rug from under you moment and mirrored structure and tbh also the emotional intensity

I also don't think his music is the most Lynchian even tbh, which is also not a bad thing tho I dig that it's more of an indirect thing, kind of properly re-imagining what that might mean for a hip hop album today

I don't think you need to go too far comparing them so far but it is again cool that he's wearing that influence on his sleeve as a young upcoming star
