OP didn’t listen to the Clipse, Gibbs, JID, Tyler, Curren$y, Larry June x 2Chainz, Metro, Billy Woods
Metros album just dropped. And I'm not sure the others fall under what OP classes as major artists
that was 5 minutes of one interview
they have done 15+ interviews and live performances that aren’t centered around Ye and Travis but their dead parents, new love for rap, God and Pharrell. you just let a short clip determine your music tastes LOL
this why niggas say s*** came and went
cause they don’t even give s*** a chance anymore cause of Twitter bots reposting and hyping up engagement on their pages off 2-3 minute clips of an hour long interview
Tyler even literally said he hates this s*** immensely
you don’t think Clipse do as well? you just can’t fight it today
Maybe @op you should just come to peace with the fact that some of those albums were just

all the hating made these Weeknd floor seats only $350 so thank you to niggas like op for being washed
Alot of Tyler hate is chronically online that man put out a $5 ticket show for niggas to just dance with him to that album in Brooklyn and in like 10 mins it was sold out and folks was forced to buy from resellers for like 35-50 dollars.
A LOT of this forum literally do not go outside and I hate that it’s turned into discourse about music from people that…legit do not go outside (and I know yall dont cause yall talk about it in life sxn)
Niggas dont know how to talk to a woman but know how to tear down an album that meanwhile in real life is getting hella love.
This forum’s falling off frfr.

We need an overcorrection in media literacy. It’s clear alot of folks lack it.
"Came and went" isn't really a thing now. Albums don't really stick with the general public anymore because there's just so much music to listen to, so easily. So instead each album will stick with the people that really enjoyed the album, and that's fine.
It's very rare that an album sticks with the general population longer than 2 weeks.
Yep streaming has had a terrible effect on music
think the movie being bad took all the wind out its sails
i also didn't listen to it all the way through tho, so maybe it was just bad idk
Everything Push said about them is true. Nothing but facts
Best album of the year so far
Best rollout too
So be it so be it
Bait used to be believable
kanye never made a second 808s
Name tyler’s 2nd Igor
TLOP was also rehashing of yeezus but with an emphasis on trap btw

You're right. Social media has contributed to things coming and going.
Where you're wrong though is about interviews dictating music taste.
I don't care about the Clipse or Pusha T in 2025. Big deal lol.

Rap music isn’t for you then and that’s okay
Bro, it’s 2025, “came and went” is pretty much how music works now
I personally be still having s*** in rotation though it’s very subjective based on the person there is no mono culture standard anymore man
i mean s*** it’s not a rap album but 2hollis album was good lotta good music came out this year there just hasn’t been one huge song or album
Weeknd album was really for the diehards
99% sad songs and dropped in dead January
it would’ve been for diehards if it was sad and horny, them songs just sad tbh
