    i think release date is august 9th. when he did the week pre-order on his website for album he also had promotion for hoodie that said "delivered by august 9th" it could just be as easily a way to throw people off but now im convinced it was his sneaky way of giving date. i see a single next week for 4th of july and then another month where he'll slowly rollout cover, tracklist, features, and other promo, etc. and then album august 9th

    yeah he's playing a dangerous game. its like he does the surprise drop or the long stretched out rollout. he hasn't really evolved with current times and realized people want s*** now. he should of went a month with just a lot of promo in between instead of all this silence and uncertainty.

    with that being said the way he's doing this makes me feel he's confident with the album. we shall see

    Yeah I think the Detroit murder files and the obituary on the newspaper was a pretty dope idea, they could be doing more of that to build hype and set the mood for the album for sure

    besides SSLP (4w), Devil's Night (2w), and MMLP2 (10w) every Eminem/D12 album that was announced ahead of time dropped between 5 and 7 weeks after the lead single.

    July 5th (reported by Billboard) is 5 weeks after the single. No major label albums are slated to release that day.
    July 12th is 6 weeks, and has a couple minor UMG releases but nothing too major
    July 19th is 7 weeks and has two minor UMG releases

    July 26th would be competing with Ice Spice

    August 2nd would be competing with Polo G

    August 9th is pretty wide open but is 10 weeks out (would be tied for longest between lead single and album release for Em) and also would have it's second week competing with Post Malone

    and you don't think he's tying the second chance to preorder to a second single. think about it. why would he give a second chance to preorder if it's dropping next week. makes zero sense

    i would anticipate announcement/promo early next week for next single

    and i say this hoping im wrong and album is coming out sooner than later
