Rhyme or Reason, Berzerk, Baby, Groundhog Day, Beautiful Pain, Wicked Ways and Don’t Front are very strong tracks as well as those 3. Could’ve been a sweet 12 tracks maybe with the inclusion of Rap God and Headlights

I like the rapping on the album, especially the rhyme schemes but the flow is a slight issue on some tracks. It can border on overwrought. I do think it’s mostly a high quality rhyme display but the divine part threw me for a loop lol it’s funny to think about it like that

SSLP and the slim shady character as a whole was created as a reaction to Infinite flopping

MMLP was a reaction to SSLP controversy

TES was trying to show he was more mature after his court case and all the controversy started to fade, his first mainstream “rebrand”

Even Relapse was already just an ill conceived attempt at reviving the shady character for his “comeback”, most evident in the terrible and forced single “We Made You”

Infinite and Encore are his least reactionary albums with the most pure artistic intent if we’re keeping it a stack

Survival hook is not my cup of tea but i think a lot of people think it’s em’s best song in that lane. Those verses are actually really good, way better than anything after that album
