just ran mmlp2 again a couple hours ago
think that’s his last “opus” but hope he tops it
That album sucked
Kamikaze 2, the album where Eminem replies to everybody who didn't like the album that he made replying to everybody that didn't like the ninth álbum
Lol yea i noticed a few years back that every album that Em has dropped since Recovery has been a response album to the backlash of the previous album
As long as he stops doing the choppy double time flow
He’s been doing it since 2013, so I doubt he’ll stop anytime soon
That album sucked
play it again in full for the first time since like 2016 and listen to every word
iont even like 90% of his music like that but if u listen to every word on the album and get over like 3-4 of the beats, every word sounded like it was coming from something divine, like dude was out his body and had something to prove

lyrical lemonade feat was lowkey smooth but had a lil choppy moment here and there
Music to be murdered by and side b were a step up from the previous stuff. I think hes probably heard a lot of the criticism at this point and I could see this being good
His rap voice on features has been the best it’s been in a while. The yelling constapated voice is kind of gone

Only Kamikaze and arguably LP2
Only Kamikaze and arguably LP2
lp2 was less of a response to backlash and more of a celebration of his career
tough luck for every other artist who was shooting for AOTY
Only Kamikaze and arguably LP2
That’s debatable imo. Of course my claim isn’t confirmed but this is just observations of his albums since 2010
Relapse got backlash for the dark content and accents…so he responded on Recovery with a light poppier sound, made a whole new flow and he s*** on Relapse.
People thought he went too pop so he made MMLP2 and brought back Shady
He made Revival to show he could make something genuinely mature after his Slim Shady revival era
And Kamikaze speaks for itself of course
It just always seems like the content of his recent albums have been reactions to the criticisms of the previous project.
Relapse was the last time it really felt like Em was making music without worrying about outside influences, and he had no concern over what the response would be
