i still never heard it
should i try going outside for a change?
You havent heard ems best song?
Eminem is the best selling rapper in South Africa...
South Africa is very white lol
Certifications don't hit like they used to in streaming era
I appreciate it's necessary to combine sales and streams for chart but for certifications it don't really work imo they're 2 diff measurements u can't compare old times with new and lump them together

Facts , but em still sold crazy records before streaming
Marshall mathers lp did like almost 2 million first week
Being white definitely helped em but lets not act like that’s the only reason he sold well because no other white rapper even comes close to his sales

For sure he's always done crazy numbers
Just songs because of streaming that weren't even singles getting certified mainly just because they're on popular album kinda devalues the singles side to it to me (thought this way before this thread)

Yea its way harder for album certs now smh
Was listening to the Eminem Show the other day and man… if Em was somehow able to stay at this style his whole career…
It’s funny because Em was a poor white trash dude from Detroit with no opportunity but armchair activists from the burbs be like “he’s white!”
And the only reason he got put on was Dr Dre who reaped a ton of money from it lol

His career path if he didn't go so hard on d****, wminem show and 8 mile soundtrack was his peak
Eminem show being best selling is fitting cuz its his most complete album tbqh
TES had his strongest introspection and most iconic hits.
MMLP was more of a cultural reset but also has some dated references and content. He sounded rawer than he did on TES though.

Yeah it seemed like eminem show was his transition album, coulda seen him have a jay z style image and discography from there had he not spiraled
I still listen to Eminem regularly. Just listened to relapse this past weekend
