oh s***
Meaning the app only Twitter employees have access ? Obvs there are some changes going down , doesn’t mean Twitter is “shutting down”
nigga killed the gold standard for spreading information on social media for 10 years in 1 month
He bought it to increase his public image and control information only to ruin his "genius billionaire philanthropist" image and destroy the entire thing. Elon went into a field he had no experience in and thought he was Steve Jobs
where we moving to next, tiktok and tiktok2 (insta) are not it
Y'all should've given Google+ a chance.

tfw you find out companies need more than government tax credits and stock manipulation to survive
Employees force company to fail in order to spite the CEO
What a weird world
No one forced them, he fired half of them and that obviously made the others uncomfortable knowing they could be cut at any time. That would happen to any CEO that did that at any company it's not out of spite to Elon
Elon isn’t some genius. All he did was use his already established family wealth to invest in a company and get wealthier while in the process talking and taking credit for the ideas of the actual engineers doing the work.
It’s obvious he’s clueless when he actually talks about the tech.

there's not even a remote chance twitter is going to die in the next decade. it's fun to imagine but it isn't gonna happen.
I don't think it's over even if it goes down, they're resurrect it. But it's gonna be an uphill struggle
Honestly impressed with how quickly he managed to f*** things up
I expected him to at least look like he knew what he was doing for a while
On the real though I feel like
1. People are overreacting to this and are probably still gonna be on Twitter because at the end of the day it is one of the biggest media platforms in the modern era. With so much quick and easy access to information, news, events, communities, cultures, etc people are still gonna want some way to access it. Almost in a sense of "fear of the unknown" or "missing out" however you want to put it as it pertains to you personally.
2. Is it really such a bad thing for us to lose access to all that, or at the very least, take better care of what it is that we consume or engage in? It's been so much negativity and vitriol all over Twitter, IG, Reddit, Facebook, and so many other platforms. Maybe this is just because these are some truly bad times we are living in with so many angry, confused, sad and all that. But so much has poured over into these digital lives we are living. It's like we used social media to escape the hostility of the real world, but we brought it into the digital world.
I guess the point I am trying to get at is be mindful of how we use these platforms going forward. If there even is going forward. They are powerful tools, but they can be harmful, and it is best for us to become more conscious of that so as to prevent it harming us and others when/where/how we can.

Yes realistically Elon will step back and someone else could come in a turn this around. It would be a miracle and Twitter will never be as big as it was under Jack Dorsey but it's still possible. MySpace is still around today
