Lies of P is better than Sekiro imo
and as @Banana_Clip said Elden Ring is the be all end all adventure game version of every Soulsborne made prior
Playing through Lies of P now and no the f*** not lol. It's the best soulslike not made by Fromsoft and I'm enjoying it but the parry system alone is not nearly as satisfying as Sekiro's. Best parry system matching Sekiro in quality is Sifu
care to explain why its not a valid argument?
Sekiro has about the same number of non-repeated bosses as Elden ring despite ER being over 3 times in length. its a completely fair criticism.
Sekiro doesnt have a situation where you encounter a main boss hanging out in a random cave like elden ring does.
There is the price point for example. In total elden ring has vastly more content and unique bosses than sekiro. There are no repeated mandatory bosses in Elden Ring thats why I dont think its an argument.
And repeating a boss in either game doesnt make them worse than the fights are (in 99.9%of all cases not named Godefroy) by any means I think we can all agree on that.
Either you like the fight or not. I like Godskin duo I never actually died to that boss either so it absolutely doesnt bother me. What I am trying to say is that people need to stop masking their opinion as some objective criticism. You just dont like Radahn judgin by your other post and so do many people. You think its too difficult for your prefered playstyle. I disagree it was the most fun fight of the game to me. So lets leave all this other nonsense by side and just judge based on our experiences.
However what is absolutely objective is that Sekiro is by default a more limiting experience. They do not give you a helping hand in that game as they do in Elden ring. People that do not have the reflexes will suffer more in Sekiro due to its linear gamedesign and one weapon upgrade system. And once again you just happen to prefer it that way because it suits your playstyle. That may not apply to many other people

when the f*** did i ever mask my opinion as objective criticism
when you talk about any subjective art form or entertainment it shouldnt require having to staple 'imo' onto everything.
of course its my opinion. the real problem is people getting butthurt when you present any opinion that isnt the game being a 10/10.

Yeah I will not any criticism about this DLC slide and anyone that says its not a 10/10 needs to git gud
OoK died in 2 tries when I played BB. The only bosses that took me more than 4 tries in BB was strangely enough Martyr Logarius, and Shadows of Yharnam or whatever they’re called. All other bosses either died on the first attempt, or second.
I found BB to be much easier than ER. Of the 2 games I do like BBs playstyle a lot more than ER though.
Things will even out soon, dw. Have you explored Caelid yet?
A lil but nothing deep. I went there early and got cooked lmao
Guy I just invaded was in the middle of muling I think. I picked up all the stuff
Got a few dlc weapons. Wish I did it on my str/fth/arc character. This scythe “Obsidian Lamina” is pretty cool.
I'll make a tier list of all i consider elden ring's main bosses (not only remembrance), but for now im taking a post workout shower and getting back to the grind. Im feeling myself this time, i hope i make good progress, i defeated malenia, her historic opp cant be too much harder
You have to stay in close and roll to the front left
You will get wrecked if you try to keep your distance at all
This is the only thing ive figured so far, and in phase 2, since most attacks are very similar, the same tactic applies. The main problems for me rn are the new attacks, besides the grab, which admittedly is so cool i get tempted to get caught on purpose just to hear the dialogues and get the unique death screen
How’s the DLC everyfolks
I really gotta come back and finish the base game
has the same strengths and issues as the base game
basically if u loved elden ring. buy it, no questions asked
2 trophies away from platinum
Just watched a YouTube vid of an avid souls marathon runner and he beat the dlc with summons that you get from the dlc and that s*** was amazing looked like pokemon
Seems like even when dodging left, spamming even, at the right time i still get hit in phase 2. Dont know if fast roll Is required, but yeah. And still when i make one single mistake i can kiss the try goodbye cause ill chug at least 3 flasks to get back on my feet
Yo guys is it worth replaying the game before DLC? Haven’t played since 2022 after i beat my first play through. Literally had no idea what was going on in terms of story lol. I never fought Mohg or Malenia either
I was thinking of replaying and watching lore videos to get a sense of the story so i could be more locked in for DLC

If I were you I'd refresh by playing the bits you didn't do like Mohg (who's required to do the DLC) and Malenia and then the DLC

Yeah, whatever I tried, being hit once + the constant beams of lights made it impossible for me. So I got the Fingerprint Shield and poked his ass to death.

Might just do that
so another replay isn’t necessary you think? I’ve heard people say the DLC is like a sequel which is why i asked tbh

I’m hip that’s why i mentioned him, there’s other bosses i missed too prolly

Totally up to you
I don't really pay much attention at all to the lore personally, my only concern for you is it might take a lot of hours to go through the whole game again before you get to the DLC. If you haven't fought Mohg or Malenia I have the feeling that there's still a good bit of stuff for you to do in the game
I pretty much dove right into the DLC right when it came out after not playing my character for like a year. I had like a 10 hour stint a few months back trying a new character but ultimately went back to my main for the DLC
To each their own though fr! That's just me
EDIT: Maybe look at the trophy list and fight any bosses you might have missed then do the DLC?

Cant even blame you. I want to learn him tho, so i'll try the old hit and roll method, hoping this aint another waterfowl situation, but judging from the online discourse it seems all his attacks are avoidable. Now whether they're intuitive to avoid is another story altogether
