what build so I do? I don't want to do any magic, bleed, or anything op
was thinking like a strength build, but not sure what to split it with
maybe try one with the claw weapons idk
Bruh they went off with the sorceries and incantations in this game, and bleed has a bunch of super cool and flashy weapons
If you haven’t done any of those try it. It’s totally worth it if you’re not some Elden ring pro that can easily no hit everything with fists only. Don’t get why people rob themselves of experiencing these flashy type of builds since the open world of Elden Ring was literally meant to be a sandbox in favor of those kind of setups
was Miquella one of the kids she threw in the sewer
No. Those were the omens. Very different

oh i’ve already beat it like 3-4 times. i legit put 500 hours into it 💀
i tried a magic run but on console it was too cumbersome for me to cast spells fast enough lol

cumbersome how? It’s way easier to get sorceries off quickly compared to previous soulsborne games
And you also still have the melee spells coming from your staff that you can cast super fast like the carian slicer/piercer etc
And incantations is super cool in this game, holy dmg, lightning, all the different flames, the few edgy blood incantations we have
One thing I really love about Elden Ring is casting is just so much more flashy and fun then it used to be in these games
timeline wise this making me think he is actually the brother to Morgott, Mohg and Godwyn. Carrying the banned signs with the snake, with flames and killing so many what seems to be Omen.
Where Godwyn the Golden could be a representation to the existence of everything the golden order sees as good he is the shadowside of that.
Miyazaki also said something that this dlc will be about motherhood. We see marika talking about betrayal in the beginning. They definitely fooling us with these Messmer teases tho. He gonna be important but I am thinking of a twist final boss (Marika, Godwyn or Miquella)
Yeah I paid no attention to item descriptions and the NPC dialogue felt too vague so I'd just filter through it not meaning much. I'll definitely check out the stuff now though
You could look up VaatiVidya on YT
He does super in-depth breakdowns of the lore and characters
Fromsoft fam can somebody on either PS4 or PS5 please drop me some rune stacks.. this like my 7th character it gets tiring running through the games I need some powerboosting I don’t have all the time in the world that i used to have anymore
Is there a legend itt that can come thru

The guy seems nice and puts his videos together in a nice way
But he does NOT even remotely go in depth compared to most lore hunters
His name just has gotten so big and is mentioned everywhere that people think of him as some huge lore buff

Who else do you watch? Zanni the Witch (I think that’s her name) has cool videos from what I’ve seen.

Idk them all by name but there’s a bunch out there
People like the Tarnished Archeologist or for Bloodborne mostly the older Snack Covenant podcasts
But yeah there’s a looooot of lore hunters that do various forms of in depth and long form videos on all the FS games. Vaati is a really cool guy with a heart for the community, but he rarely dives into new ground and basically just sums up the red line of the stories most of the time instead of looking into the deeper lore implications

It's been like a year now, but I remember it being a hassle having to toggle through spells before casting them.
Like it was cool and all having a mage build, but it just didn't feel as fun for me. I enjoy the whole "big sword go brrr" aspect of things, lol.
Maybe I just needed to commit to it for it to click.

Yeah it’s def a commit and rewiring of your playstyle type of situation
For sorceries specifically once you find out how to slot certain spells in a order of spells that you can chain it gets really satisfying and like I said you can also mix it up with the sorceries that work as a melee weapon if you prefer that over casting from a distance

Every time I tried a new build I just ended up respeccing and using two ultra greatswords again
Dual bleed katanas was fun but in the end I just wanna ungabunga
