I used to HATE the Twin Princes because that phase 2 would always destroy me for some reason, made me panick way too much focussing on both the ranged magic, teleportation and melee moves. Even cheesed them all the way back in my first run (which i felt bad about)

But last playthrough i did like a month ago i got them 2nd try and they are probably my fav boss of the base game in DS3 besides Nameless King & Pontiff Sulyvahn

Elden ring's bosses were overall fantastic, i hope from integrates more of sekiro with the next game, i feel like jump dodging wasnt as well thought out as other mechanics for example, you dont really know when it works besides ground aoe's which are quite obvious. I think this happened because they were simultaneously in development so there was only so much ER couldve taken from sekiro.

I also hope they keep going with original "gimmicks" like radahn meteor, rykard which is a better, more proactive storm ruler gimmick fight, and especially mohg with the blood loss dot that made positioning more important than basically any other boss battle ever. Also goes without saying but fix the goddamn camera when up against large enemies

Just had a thought, what if they made a “ranged focused” souls type game the way sekiro is sword focused

That might be what armored core 6 ends up being but personally I hope AC keeps its personality rather than get soulslike

Isnt bloodborne ranged focused? Unless im misunderstanding your post or bloodborne itself. Also, miyazaki and armored core's director stated multiple times it'll stay true to its roots so no souls influence. Maybe some minor, indirect resemblance, but It definitely wont be mecha souls yeah

I wouldn't say so, Bloodborne's guns pretty much just function as a shieldless parry, plus there are way fewer spells and no arrows

S*** was amazing
I literally died to him 3 times in a row cause I was just doing this when that mf started doing that s***, jumping to the pillars and destroying my mimic tear

Might be a top 5 boss in any game ever for me, s*** was just so beautiful and epic

All that's left is Miquella's Haligtree and the last bosses in the Capital of ash and I'm done with the game

Ended up with a STR/Arcane build, switching between my colossal greatsword with bleed affinity and Mohg sacred spear + a greatshield, depending on what the enemies require

Rocking Maliketh's armor + Colossal greatsword might be the dopest look in the game, I look like an anime character lmao

Paid, 100%. All dlc have been paid, and for the amount of time its taking them the it will be their biggest dlc too. Maybe they'll release a goty edition with dlc included at no extra cost later down the line
