All those new players looking for “get op early” guides
After doing another playthrough of their catalogue, this is easily their most unbalanced and unfair game.
I think I hate this f***ing game now, s*** is just hard for the sake of being hard, there’s no fairness to it like the rest of the franchise

LMFAO i’m doing another playthrough and have killed almost every boss in the game. can confirm you’re just upset that you suck and nothing about this game is unfair
you sound like a loser

can you actually tell me what’s so unfair about this game? other than maybe you went to the mountaintops of giants too early like everyone else?

I’ve platinumed the game and have 6 f***ing playthroughs bruh, I don’t suck at lmao. I’m so tired of the way you talk to people

ok lol idc, this is the internet and i can talk to anyone however i want so get used to it
now answer my other post, i wanna have an intelligent discussion for just a sec
when i die in this game, i understand it’s cuz i did something wrong (too aggressive, underleveled, not tracking attack patterns) so i’m interested to know exactly what makes you say “I died because the game is unfair”

What makes it so difficult after six playthroughs ? I’m in my NG+ and not struggling at all. Fully upgraded spirits + larval tears you can basically do anything you want. There’s definitely unbalanced & unfair points no arguing that but the viability of different approaches makes it easier than their other games

Enemy placements, boss HP(some enemies as well), SOME enemy damage(some regular enemies do entirely too much damage), delayed attacks that turn into a bullshit combo chain that is almost impossible to not get hit by unless you’re one of these “no hit run” crackheads who have been doing that kind of s*** for years. One of my biggest complaints is how little vigor matters here, mine is sitting at f***ing SIXTY and my health can still be took in an instant, none of their other games makes me feel this way. I never felt I had to go over 25 vigor in the other games and I would be completely fine no matter what, what the f*** is the point of bumping my s*** all the way up to 60 if I can still get destroyed from just 1 or 2 mistakes
I’m doing a strength build rn with 60 vig, 60 endurance and 80 strength with 125 poise and I feel like I don’t have enough endurance to swing more than a few times because I have to take into account how much dodging will take, then how much blocking will take on top of controlling my attacks and not to mention i’m still getting stagger locked after 2 hits with OVER 100 POISE???(honestly how is this s*** still a thing?)
Bleed build? Easy mode
Magic build? Easy mode
Faith build? Easy mode
using spirits? Easy mode
It feels like you get punished for going the melee/no spirit route which is f***ing bullshit, I don’t want to feel like I HAVE to rely on something that’s OP to feel I have a fair chance.
A lot of this game feels like it was made to s*** in your face and cut you down rather than being challenging but fair, the fairness feels like it was thrown out the f***ing window with this game. As someone who loves FromSoftware and enjoys every game they’ve made even through the bullshit that is in all of them at one point or another, Elden Ring to me easily takes the cake for being their least thought out game when it comes to challenging the player to get better, after 5 complete playthroughs you would think I would eventually get the feeling of “wow I’ve gotten so much better” but no, not at all. In fact doing a melee only run this time around has showed me you basically just get lucky in most encounters. They just said f*** it make it hard, you have to make little to no mistakes to be able beat these bosses, we have DS2 speed but the bosses have Bloodborne/DS3 speed and some of the attacks are almost impossible to memorize, s*** was just thrown together to make a hard game and that’s it.
Say whatever you want but these are MY opinions of this game, remember that.
I played this entire thing pure strength build no spirits or summons the whole first playthrough. It’s really not even that hard compared to their others and I was making it harder for myself on purpose for fun

The other games are a walk in the park compared to this, I just finished DS3 plus the dlcs with like 6 deaths the entire game, something I’ve never done before. I felt immensely better at the game after going through demon’s souls, ds1 and ds2. Then I get back to Elden Ring and everything feels worse(except for DS2) Don’t get me wrong this was one of the best games I’ve ever played at launch, but over time I’ve come to enjoy it less and less every time I load it up. Maybe I’ve just started appreciating the other games more idk, but i’m not having no where near as much fun as the rest of the franchise and just feel like there’s too much bullshit in this game

the difficulty narrative slowly falling apart. People just wanted to s*** on it because it was more successful and mainstream
the balancing is basically identical to the old games that arent DS1 and 2.

Really? I played some of DS3 the other day and it basically felt the same just without the jump attacks.

For me, absolutely no it is not.

i’m gunna be completely real and honest here, it sounds like you just need a lot of time away from this game.
you just sound sick of it, which i understand after 6 playthroughs lol

I’m noticing a lack of Bloodborne .. Cus if you haven’t played Old Hunters DLC it makes this game feel like baby o clock. And I feel like a lot of the ER bosses are designed with bloodborne philosophy in mind

I didnt say it was easy
but all the games have difficulty flaws. Its kinda strange how people act like the older games where these balanced masterpieces.
Most of it is just what build you chose, how you approach the game and sometimes even luck and you might experience extreme harsh difficulty or its alot easier. Sometimes its also just to each person. I struggled alot with the midgame of bloodborne on first playthrough. Even tho BB is generally known by most to not be that hard
