Interesting so I never met Ranni at the church in this new playthrough before skipping stormveil to hit Liurnia and get lightning spear early, then farming cleanrot knights in Aeonia swamp. Next time I went to roundtable it said the Maidens had new items for sale, and they now sell the Lone Wolf Ashes and Spiritbell that Ranni usually gives you.

He's way funnier than Afro imo. Afro got too much strategy and talks to himself too much for my liking. "Okay, jump. Nice! Good bleed". Mark trash at the game at first, you can see the improvement. But his build is just garbage and he stubbornly refuses to switch things up

They should fix the glitch but the way that guy worded it, sounded like he had more of a problem with ppl beating the bosses easily than the actual glitch

I know I’ve mentioned it more than once but it just does my head in, people will deadass summon you for a duel when they’re fully buffed out the ass, and then when you try to do more than 2 buffs to kinda equal the playing field they will fr start attacking you

Dude has Golden Vow, Flame Grant Me Strength, Prawn, physick flask AND seppeku going when he summoned me. All I was able to do was my physick, and black flame protection then he started attacking

And then buddy has the nerve to teabag after killing me. Like

I only ever buff if I see the host buff, otherwise I prefer dueling without it. I’d rather the fight not end in 2-3 hits

And yea majority of people running meta builds kinda boring. You either gonna see Bestial Sling + Honed Bolt chain casters or ROB/Seppeku bleed build. Those probably top 2 I face atm. Granted I ain’t running a unique build for pvp, literally a pure frenzy flame build with less than optimal stats, but so far today I been knocking them down left n right.

It’s usually the bleed builds & pure mages I find that will summon you when they already have 5 buffs active and won’t let you buff more than twice if at all before the start of a duel.

So VRR is coming to PS5 this week and for some reason Elden Ring isn’t one of the supported games??

All PS5 games support it, it’s just some games got patched specifically for vrr so it’ll definitely run great on those games, for instance some of them will get boosted to 90-120fps potentially like Spider-Man and ratchet and clank

Yeah, it’s not good game/boss design if your build/play style makes it significantly harder for you to beat a boss, especially in a game like this where you have so many options. Every build should be viable imo
