Yeah, the game and the world looks amazing, but every time I'm reminded of the difficulty I have 0 desire to buy it

& I sunk in like 10 hours into Bloodborne a couple of months ago before saying f*** this s***, so it's not like I didn't give souls like games a chance, but I have zero interest in dying 15 times in 3 hours just to make a little progress

Not my idea of fun, but to each it's own

After 40 hours played I feel like I’m done abit.

Nothing innovative about the gameplay loop to keep me interested atm.

Just go here - roll - hit - roll - hit - kill. Repeat

The lack of quest log (especially for side quests) and the lack of in game community also annoying. Game is giving me no reason to care about the world

Nah NPC is a d*** he sends you to the outside to the castle to lock you inside a room with a strong enemy and everytime you die he steals part of your runes

Yeah if you dont enjoy the combat then it really just not for you

Can be a very frustrating experience for sure. But there's also nothing else in gaming that's quite like finally beating a boss on your 20th attempt in one of these games 🥵🍆💦 I bet that's why they call themselves FromSoft - their games literally get you from soft to hard

I know a lot of ya'll haven't played armor core but have you even seen gameplay online?? AC is NOTHING like dark souls I'm nervous people are gonna be disappointed even though AC is a classic

I seen a video on YouTube about discussing the rumored armor core and it gave great insights.

It pretty much have its own skill to learn same as souls combat. Probably the most notable feature is the customization to come up with a build that fits you . Kinda similar to builds in souls games . But more intricacies.

Heard the story they have was mostly forgettable so I’m sure Miyazaki will come up with something exciting story wise. The only thing I’m curious about is the setting and the world building. Seems like I’m the old games you just go into different zones . Flying around a giant mecha has me interested to see how Miyazaki tackles the setting if it will be more open world or linear. Maybe he’ll get more inspiration from gundam and we have a character but that comes with more character creation .

It’s hard to imagine now but the gameplay is there the customization is there. I just want to see how it fits in a world they’ll create and the story

Yeah tbh the story was forgettable and from what I remember the game was broken up into the typical level/missions.

The PvP gameplay though holy s*** god tier. Felt like an anime mecha fight just high speed zooming around shooting

So with faith increasing gear I’m up to 57 faith and let me tell you, the supposedly strongest incantations in this game are dog s*** compared to what I’ve seen from sorcery builds.

You’re lucky to hit anything with them, they take ages to cast, and the damage they deal is absolutely not worth it.
