Yeah, launch consoles have an issue where dust or static electricity could activate the sensitive buttons. So my console randomly ejects game discs or goes into rest mode while I'm playing I even removed the eject button, but the issue is still there Sony changed it to more physical buttons you need to press, so later editions of the console doesn't have this

Next gen version is really just longer draw distances,lots of foliage and higher resolution graphics. All that stuff can easily be scaled down

Heard the og og controllers break real easy too, have drifting issues a lot n the usb slot on the controller is easy to break or bend. One of my close friends have one, they dont have the disc issue but have the controller issue bad.

I held off on the PS4 until bloodborne came out n luckily it was a great move. Refreshed ps4 along with BB + Witcher 3, Fallout 4 & MGSV i brought home

Yup, its a last gen game at heart n was always meant to be. Was suppose to come out in 2020 iirc before the next gen consoles were released but then covid happened.

The draw distance & a bit of the resolution are the only things that took some of a hit compared to next gen. Draw distance still good for the era tho & it looks like ds3 but a bit better.

Yeah Microsoft looks like it might actually be worth having again finally.

Outside of the buyouts, theyre bringing back old ips of their original studios too like Perfect Dark n Fable while making cool sequels again finally such as Halo Infinite n Forza Horizon 5 n letting their original studios do new ips such as Rare with Everwild that im excited for.

Im def buying at least a Series S at some point.
