🤣🤣🤣 yeah they made sure you knew exactly wtf they were saying even their adlibs are like this is how you say this word as clearly as possible

  • Aug 22, 2025

Sidebar, how is it racist when you gotta bunch of these doofy lil white boys tryna do the "mumble rap" s*** these days because the bar has been lowered and they treat rap like a joke and get rich quick scheme?

Like it's a difference between mumbling and straight up not even saying anything intelligible on the track cause motherfuckers too d***ged out and can barely put together a coherent sentence or thought.

that's dope so was 2words where's his NYT podcast

They was calling Lil Uzi Vert a mumble rapper too and at no point did I ever have a hard time understanding what he was saying lol

They called 21 Savage a mumble rapper too, and I kinda get it due to his monotone low energy delivery and flows. But it's not like he was difficult to understand either. I wouldn't necessarily call what he was doing mumbling, moreso just talking.

Once you start getting to the Yeats of the world that's when we're in the thick of mumbling and not even saying words.

When I see the name Jon Caramanica I always think about his microaggression comments about Solange that partly inspired A Seat at the Table.

Seems like the kind of white person who feels he has authority over black artists because he has been reviewing rap music for decades.

They always do which is why I keep stressing the importance of Black artists not giving these dorks any kinda credence.

For all the dumb s*** Kanye has said, he was 100% right about not wanting his music to be reviewed by any white music publication. They've shown time and time again that they just can't help themselves tryna tell Black artists what to do and what "rap is supposed to sound like".

When bro asked earl to take off the shades so they could see his eyes I just mentally blocked him out for the rest of the interview

Which is insane because Michigan accent proper as hell

It isnt even about the accent it’s about the flow and delivery. It’s plenty of southern niggas that you can understand every word and recognize their accent.

It's better to start with earlier Veeze. If you peep his more recent work a lot of it really sounds like it was recorded in the midst of a deep d*** bender. It honestly gets sad as hell more than anything.

    What he say

Solange made a comment that white journalists covering R&B music should know who Brandy is. She was asked to join the New York Times podcast to discuss her comments and declined.

Jon and some other white guy went ahead and discussed Solange and the topic and Jon said “I went to Solange’s concert and I noted who her audience was, and if I were her, I’d be careful of making these statements because I’d be careful not to bite the hand that feeds me.”

You know that's another thing that's been bugging me about this new album rollout. A lot of these dorky ass white hip-hop Twitter motherfuckers treating Earl like some depressed Make-A-Wish nigga.

"Oh look the depressed Black man is finally happy!" Our favorite sad Black guy isn't depressed!"

These people are f***in weird. And I have a huge issue with it when these people were basically turning Earl's s*** into a meme. Tryna mosh to f***in EAST at his shows
