Not movie related but I just finished Dune messiah book and I found it very disappointing, it's not subtle and elegant like the first, everything is in your face... Like the Hitler name dropping parallel ? Fr we knew that Herbert no need to do something a 16yo would to emphase a how it's a giant genocide plus idk it felt almost like he wanted to tell us hey y'all b\*\*\*\* didn't understand the first book and why Paul is the evil so I'm telling y'all

Love when movies come out like this and everyone goes multiple times/can’t get enough discussing it. Wish we had more like this.

Yeah the fighting scenes with the sand storms making it difficult to see the freman was so sick

I did like Paul’s voice getting stronger by the time he turned full heel, it really felt like watching a boy turn into a man

Bit too sanitized big budget scifi but the action scenes were incredible

Wall of sound thing got annoying after a while esp when it would cover up dialogue

Overall still great
