Amazing movie but who is florence pughs character ?? At first i thought it was his sister but by the end i had no idea

that scene when all the fremen pop out of the sand for the attack at the spice harvester and its a 30 second one take of the ambush

and then theres another similar one towards the end when both armies meet and chani is fighting, just another smooth 30 second uninterrupted combat scene

great choice to not have cuts, and to let us see the fremen and how they approach combat so smoothly like that

I think this is a cinematic masterpiece
My biggest problem is that they didn’t do a good enough job of showing that Paul himself is a bad guy. It felt like they made Paul too sympathetic while making Jessica and his sister seem evil. Also the slap scene was kinda cringe. Other then that man what a f***ing masterpiece

Also I loved every scene with Jessica, the entire gladiator sequence into the seduction scene was f***ing peak cinema

I don’t think it’s black and white good guy bad guy I just don’t like how sympathetic he seemed compared to his mom. Seemed a bit Hollywood, especially the stuff w/ chani. But u right, i will probably appreciate it better as a finished story

Out human mind sure can comprehend a Hollywood movie even if you were going for a hyperbole. I don’t have a problem with what you said though it’s more so the reviews I saw that were saying the same thing but actually meant it
