I was stumbling and slurring my words a lot and my mom thought I took a bunch of pills in a suicide attempt so she called 911. When the cops got here I just fessed up and admitted I abused my pills so they put me in there for a few days.

What was dumb was when I was asked if it was a suicide attempt, I said no, and when asked if I was suicidal, I said no(i actually wasn't at the time so it wasn't a lie). Don't get why they put me in the mental hospital at all.

yeah doesn't sound particularly reasonable to go to the ward because of that for like 2-3 days. at the very least you should've been discharged after you slept it off but i guess they're tryna squeeze money out?

my parents just put me to bed when i've taken too much or start drinking while on them or start hallucinating because of ambien cause it's common and i've told them before that it could happen.
