The #1 single he’s chasing won’t undue his massive L, the ongoing lawsuit, or his fractured image in hip hop. So he’s opting to stoke the spiteful flames that remain of his core fan base, instead of giving them genuine moments.
Drake doesn’t move on easily, we’ve known that with his honesty in music. But for the love of god this is the 1 thing he has to move on from. Just make good music. We don’t need the benchmarks or narratives especially when he fails to achieve them (100gigs, Nokia, now this)
