After the latest chart update all those posts are right

Chart talk is serious btw … can’t believe it
Gonna be getting actual promo and music videos imo
Why is he more concerned with getting a number 1 hit no matter the cost rather than making a good album
Exactly bro this is gonna ruin this album.
I appreciate the way he constantly lets us know his exact insecurities and the ways he needs validation
makes him a great artist
It's ridiculous how much power radio holds in 2025
i think its actually sad how kendrick lamar fans and i say this not as a drake fan but as a music lover, preach radio numbers over geniune streams in an effort to hate on drake. Its not good that labels/radio control whats hot.

UMG d***riders are afraid of one man having all that power
The “industry” would prefer to control what’s popular via radio and playlisting
makes him a great artist
Not when his insecurities are rooted in another man’s success over him
The #1 single he’s chasing won’t undue his massive L, the ongoing lawsuit, or his fractured image in hip hop. So he’s opting to stoke the spiteful flames that remain of his core fan base, instead of giving them genuine moments.
Drake doesn’t move on easily, we’ve known that with his honesty in music. But for the love of god this is the 1 thing he has to move on from. Just make good music. We don’t need the benchmarks or narratives especially when he fails to achieve them (100gigs, Nokia, now this)

drake stans said kendricks streams (and still do) are all botted and s***
stop playing this one sided victim mentality. leave that to your papi

I wish he hadn’t said this because now I feel like he’ll never get a #1 again
like when he made that long emotional post about HLB before it got blocked from being his first

i dont care about any of this. drake wearing his heart on his sleeve makes him an actually interesting artist and not a clown dancing for social media(Kendrick Lamar)

He isn't "chasing" anything. If he was, there's a lot more he could have done to push the song. What Did I Miss was the most-streamed song and the most-purchased song in the US this week but still couldn't debut at #1 because the #1 song has 73M radio impressions lol.
This is something Drake rapped about way back in 2023, on the album he scored 2 #1 hits on.

Nah, he will. He'll definitely get it when he drops his album. I'm glad it didn't happen with What Did I Miss.

Also, if I also had 13 songs peak at #2, idk, I'd be a bit pissed at that too lmao.
Does anyone even listen to radio anymore lol
I know it’s anecdotal but idk a single person who does
