the new version of “National Treasure” is “Plot Twist”. Or possibly a solo version of National Treasure that turns into Plot Twist, because we do know how much Drake likes beat switches.
The reason I’m saying this because the two songs have the same 808 or bass pattern (one of them). The first time I heard this leak, I thought it was Plot Twist for that reason and then realized it’s the elevator beat after hearing the intro.
i don't think Drake would do that and have a beat switch with the same bassline, bc at that point it's like what's the point fr? but it would be a bit cool

Many beat switches carry elements from the first part of the song so the whole track feels more cohesive and doesn’t sound like 2 songs slapped together. Correct me if I’m tripping, this is the same bass for sure.

When I hit play on Track 4 ‘National Treasure’ on ICEMAN and after the first verse it segues into a familiar “Twistin the M and the O and the B”

NWTS has a lot of filler for me.
Not filler in a typical sense, cause drake don't miss.
But like, Furthest thing, Own It, From Time, 305 to my city, just really meh records by drake standards.
Where as most of the songs on FATD & Scorpion for me have more of a substantive and timeless feel.
