like you said tho majority of rappers did take it seriously

if they responded it was like when Mac said “in this Game of Thrones, it is known/I got the 4G, L-T-E connection boards/No Control, f*** Ken Lamar (Fuck you Kendrick!),”

but Drake has never been in real beef before so i can see why he was so sensitive to it

he’s from the suburbs and not hip hop and they showed imo

Mac was trollin if you actually followed him lol

if its just a verse, what track did drake start it on? push ups maybe? but even that thread that @Tuneout shared it basically admits drake had no real callouts since 2022 or 2021 so releasing a "response" 2-3 years later is a little weird

    peep the interview i posted

    that was his reply

he replied in The Language and a few others throughout the years too

100%, surprising as a fan tbh given their collabs have continuously created hits, but thats not the point i was making at all

I dont think ALL of Atlanta rally to reach out to Drake.

I think for folks like migos, future, etc. it was a symbiotic relationship in which they both got something out of it.

insane pivot. does Kendrick rap about pushing coke? Kendrick's one of the most authentic rappers, NOT because he's from the hood, but because he raps about s*** that's important to him as a person. Yes that involves him growing up in the hood but it doesn't have to, there plenty other ways an artist like Drake could be more authentic

"I don't smoke crack mothafucka I sell it" - Kendrick Lamar

    /thread Kendrick is a menace

Drake threw subs all over NWTS lol

  • And Drake did act weird about the Control verse cuz he went on somebody's platform (I forgot who) and talked about how Kendrick's didn't keep the same energy when he saw him when it wasn't even a diss

sure i agree with you 100%, but the original argument was for every burnaboy or smthn there was a dram, whos the dram in atlanta that called out drake? whos the dram in uk drill that called out drake? whos the dram in house music that called out drake? whos the dram in spanish music that called out drake? whos the dram in afropop that called out drake?

From Atlanta not sure but Sauce Walka and Meek Mill (obv) both critiqued his “cultural appropriation” status. The former way better worded than the latter obviously.

You niggas really view the rap game through this weird ass pop fan lens and this is exactly why s*** is going down the way it is now

And also the dudes that were named in the verse who responded like J. Cole, Meek Mill, Mac Miller and them were all on the charts at the time the s*** happened.

    What are you saying lol
