You are missing the point. My comment is that with cases when people are accused of ripping off others tracks, time stamped files are necessary to prove when it was made. We don’t know when it was made forsure without the actual dated file. It takes seconds to upload a video showing when versions of the demo were made.

If it was last modified well ahead when Drake dropped it, we know the hook most likely came from the demo then. Until then, it is a random song.

That doesn't always work, for one, you can time stamp any time when it comes to digital files. Second, you still have to have your paperwork in order, did you file all the necessary paperwork for third. That's why you got two Dennis the Menace, made around the same time and different countries.
