if you do an AI song like taylormade, why not make sure you are set legally at least? i still like the track and think the beat is underrated, but the situation around it was messy as hell

why the f*** are you giving kendrick time to write and record music? his team knew that all they needed to win was the internet and not some f***ing streamers like ak, kai, adin or whoever that aren't even really f***ing with you like that

the war continues, but he lost this battle in terms of perception (i still think that when you evaluate it as classic rapbattle, his bars are unmatched) and a big reason is him thinking his confidence is enough to win.

Looking back on the whole thing I do wonder what Drake could have done differently.

Kendrick was going to release his diss songs with the pdf/sex ring stuff no matter what Drake did.

Like That was the bait to see if Drake would take it. Then after he did with Pushups, Kendrick took like 20 days off and recorded all his diss songs. At this point it wasn't about the beef or responding to Drake it was about Kendrick just saying and doing what he planned to originally. Even if Drake didn't drop Family Matters Kendrick was going to drop MTG and Not Like Us anyways because his first two diss songs were basically fillers.

So, what could have Drake done? Not reply to Like That? I think Kendrick was going to drop the disess anyways.

Yes. Drake is very lazy about his image. Every other celebrity has teams dedicated to curating posts, news, photos, and Drake hasn't really given a f***. It has not helped him to just let these rumors run rampant while he does nothing. I understand certain people have already made up their mind but he could have gone on record sooner for casuals and to set the record straight
