I feel like his voice has changed and itâs affected his singing capabilities which is why heâs more reliant on autotune now. Can see why itâs off putting to some especially on that album but I liked it I never liked R&B Drake because I thought he was an incredible singer lol
During TML era he had an actual vocal coach and would actually try to do some vocal practice. The effort is probably the biggest change.
On KTT for sure but Twitter/general public still hates HNVM
Thats facts. I've talked to some people at uni about it recently and they've only listened to it once because they just think its s***ty house music
He said his bm she was an average lay, shes just another bird & he can only afford a cheaper island for vacay
Aubrey gotta let that hurt go
And HNVM was under polished as hell and half that album went absolutely NOWHERE.
He has too many yes men around him and is too far up his own ass to think half of those vocal âperformancesâ and songs shouldâve been on a Drake album.
What do you mean it went nowhere?
Where exactly is a dance album supposed to go?
I thought he incorporated his way with words kinda perfectly with new beats and sounds on HNVM
Texts Go Green, Sticky, Overdrive and Liability all showcase that the most to me
Somebody said the concept was such a joke and was laughing at the dogs barking segments, but I actually kinda liked those đ that and the BARK radio bring a lot of life to the concept of the album
Imagine if BNYX and Drake met in a different era. I feel like BYNX production suits Drake very well
Only songs I have deleted are the Screw the World Interlude and the Bad Bunny song.
I think the Snoop Dogg radio skit was unnecessary.
The rest of this album is just good music. Great songs. I really like it. Good album, that will age really great I think.
I agree with this. Screw usually gets a skip for me and my spanish is too bad to appreciate that bunny song fully

Bahamas Promises and Members Only sound incredible to me but I still think Drake should go back to none/light autotune
Would it be OK to say tried our best is like top 5 drake? BecauseâŚ
Oh itâs close

I meant nowhere sonically and quality, not commercially.
The vocals are mediocre on many songs, he did not push himself. This is pretty objective.
The production also went nowhere on so many songs which is a HUGE issue. Itâs a âDance albumâ but half the songs are just minimal mid tempos with no excitement.
The lyrics mostly shallow and talking about nothing. A bunch of repetitive vagueness.

So Iâve sat with it for a minute now and I think I can properly asses it. This album somehow simultaneously makes an argument for his least substantive work to date and his most entertaining.
I say least substantive because there is a lot of low hanging fruit here lyrically and musically and there is very little insight from a guy we would only assume has gained some wisdom in his decade and a half at the top. His refusal to delve deeper into who he is beneath the persona kinda makes it hard to connect with him.
I say most entertaining because every single track is addictive as f***. Str8 up. Every track may not be a creative spectacle but they all find their way under your skin and before you know it youâre hooked.
Drake is unhinged, blunt, and hilarious throughout, more so than weâve ever heard him imo. His flows his delivery and his different cadences are also at peak levels on this project which adds a lot of intensity. There is a sort of visceral quality to his performances on this project that is really engaging.
Although the production doesnât push any boundaries or move things forward at all it always serves as the perfect backdrop for the emotion or theme that Drake and company are attempting to tap into and overall this feels like one of his better produced projects.
Overall I like this project a lot and though I understand some of the criticisms regarding the immature subject matter I think the good far outweighs the bad.
7.5/10

I feel like this album is way more consistent than CLB, which one do you guys prefer? CLB has some amazing highs tho
Its the keine musik sound. Hnvm is perfect
It has the passion of someone d***ged up on anti-depressants in audio form
Keep having random melodies from songs pop in my head. This s*** is crack
Havenât had that happen with other recent albums

A s*** ton of dance music is repetitive lol
Why can't the lyrics be as well
Feel like sometimes yall don't let Drake create vibe music like other artists do
This album is seriously one of the best in recent memory. Enjoying this so much more than I have any Drake album since IYRTITL (HNVM & HL were heat though)
